In our studio unique individual pieces are carefully handcrafted in every fine detail for our Meister 1881 Collection.

These are unique pieces resulting in hundreds of hours of work by the skilled hands of designers, jewelers, gem setters, engravers, silversmiths and gemologists (gemstone experts).

The experts/specialists at Meister 1881 are proudly keeping up the high reputation since 1881.

HANDCRAFT

In its ateliers on Zurich’s Bahnhofstrasse, Meister 1881 Jewellery employs goldsmiths and trains up apprentices. The fascinating trade is thus learned from scratch and passed on to the next generations. The brand’s own atelier produces the Meister 1881 Collection creations and is also responsible for the high level of service at the Meister 1881 workshops.

Meister 1881 Jewellery has been awarded a total of seven “Diamond International Awards” for its extraordinary creations and has been a member of the “Diamond International Academy” since 1968.

Meister 1881 Jewelry has a large selection of gemstone and pearls, for features that are attractive, rare and precious. All Meister 1881 Collection creations stand out with high-quality and selected beautiful precious stones of the highest quality. In order to achieve this standard the goldsmiths must have experience and good knowledge of their craft.

Meister 1881 also employs in-house gemologists (gemstone experts), is a member of the Swiss Gemmological Society (SGG), any certificates to be done of important stones are done by the Swiss Gemmological Institute (SSEF) and Meister 1881 adheres to the Declaration of the gems on the requirements of the World Jewellery Confederation (CIBJO).
